If you want a challenge in Poptropica beyond the different main island missions, there are lots of mini-games you can play. The different Poptropica games are fun to play because you get to compete against other players in the game. Every player has a battle ranking in the game and the more wins you get, the higher your ranking will climb. Most of the Poptropica games are played in the multi-player rooms. Every island on Poptropica has one, and you'll find it usually in the main area of each island. For example, the multiplayer room in Early Poptropica is called the Soda Pop Shop, and it's located right near the beginning. Recently, Poptropica added a special power that you can purchase in the store for credits called the Multiverse. This item lets you make your own multiplayer room and invite your friends inside. To start playing the Poptropica games, go inside any multiplayer room.
Pathwise is one kind of Poptropica's multiplayer games. Its a puzzle game, where the objective is always to link tiles of your colour from one end of the board to another before your opponent can. To start a game of Pathwise, first head over to the nearest multiplayer room. Click the individual you want to battle, and two options will appear over the players head: Chat and Battle. Click "Battle", and a list of games will appear. Select "Pathwise", which happens to be the initial game shown. The opposite player will be presented the choices "Sure! " or "No, thank you! ". If they choose "Sure! poptropica ", the game will start, but if they say No, thank you! or won't answer you, youll need to find someone else to play the game.
For your turn, click on any tile to switch it to your color. Your goal is to produce a path that connects the two sides of your colour.
Each player is going to be on reverse sides of the screen one participant is on one of the two grassy green sides, the other at one of the two watery blue. Your primary goal is to reach the other side with your color before the other person does poptropica secrets. You will take turns to click one of the 81 hexagonal tiles to make it a part of your path. Clicking on a tile when it's your turn will change the basic grey tiles color to your own. In case a tile has already been colored green or blue, it can't be clicked on ever again. It is a 9 x 9 grid, but it relies on the players quick wits and calculations to be successful. When it is your turn, dont hesitate for too long otherwise your turn can get skipped!
Because there are no points with this game, the only method to be successful is to produce a full path to connect the two sides of your color together, before your opponent gets to it. The overall game ends when somebody has won, or if the entire playing field is filled. When the complete grid is filled and there is simply no champion, it's a tie.
